Here, Pastor Doug speaks to us about the power of forgiveness and not giving up on people just because they don’t meet your standards or expectations. This is what Jesus did with his disciples. He went so far to even wash their feet when they didn’t deserve it. Even the one who betrayed him. Really powerful stuff.
It comes from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 that states, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self‑seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
